Donna Holford-Lovell - Fleet Collective & NEoN (North East of North)

My main practice has been curating contemporary art in various guises, with an interest in bringing together many creative parts and finding new ways of working and challenging traditional modes of practice. I enjoy curating and commissioning new work that advances the understanding and accessibility of digital and technology driven art forms.

Cavan Convery

Cavan is an Exhibition Designer who has worked on a large number of permanent and temporary exhibitions in museums and galleries throughout the UK. He designs exhibition elements from museum display cases to mechanical hands-on interactives and also creates information graphics and illustrations. In 2015 he designed three of the National Galleries of Scotland’s summer shows. Working closely with curators and conservators he helped plan hanging arrangements of artworks and designed and installed graphics and display furniture for the David Bailey, Jean-Etienne Liotard and Picasso & Lee Miller exhibitions.

Lyall Bruce - Sooper Double D

Lyall Bruce is a designer who works on projects from identity design through to mobile app and web site layouts. Lyall is also the co-founder of Fleet Collective and NEoN Digital Arts Festival and is also a director of Creative Dundee.

Gareth Christie - Digital Artist / FlickForKicks

Gareth Christie is a Digital Artist and Designer who produces graphics and animated videos to explain, to educate, and to promote products and services. FlickForKicks is side-venture with a social goal; encouraging real-world interactions. Over 25 years of table soccer experience goes into the design of digital and handmade products, which promote face-to-face, tactile play.



Wideopenspace is a communication design and web development company. Working in both print and web, the majority of our projects feature complex communication and data handling and web application requirements. We typically work with higher education and public sector type clients as well as SMEs. Recent clients include: CALLS - St Andrews University, School of Nursing - University of Dundee, CENSIS - University of Glasgow, The Great War Dundee - Dundee Leisure & Culture, Creative Impact Star - Creative Scotland.

Ryan McLeod - Slurpp

Slurpp is a design studio that helps businesses solve their problems using digital technology. We strive to produce exciting ideas, beautiful solutions and have an overwhelming desire to never be beige.

Robin Griffiths - Melophilus

Melophilus is a freelance illustrator and animator with a background in game development. She likes to create art, games, pillow forts and gifs that bounce.

Jennie Patterson - Patter PR

Patter PR is a small Public Relations agency that’s big on experience. We represent brands and businesses keen to tell their stories. We have great contacts in the media and though we do say it ourselves we’re very good at what we do. We’re also very nice to work with which helps.

Clare Cooper

Clare is an independent producer working across the fields of culture, tourism and public health. She is currently co-producing Cateran’s Common Wealth and The Art of Living Dangerously is co-propietor of Vanora’s Cottages and co-founder of Alyth Craft Tourism and is Co-Director of The Home Straight She is a member of the rural Perth & Kinross LEADER Local Action Group and a founding Director of Alyth Development Trust.

Kirsty Maguire - Kirsty Maguire Architect

We are award winning architecture practice that blends design led work and environmental responsibility, believing the two elements are interdependent in creating good design. We create high performance, ultra low energy buildings using the best practice Passivhaus standard as a basis for both new and existing buildings. Projects start from green field sites, historic properties and anything between. We also provide capacity development training to professionals, students and the wider public. Our projects are in the doorstep, across Scotland and worldwide. Our Clients range from private individuals to large organisations such as The United Nations Development Programme.

Emily Dewhurst - Kitchenpress

Kitchen Press is an award-winning publisher specialising in food writing. We work with restaurants, markets and food brands to create bespoke illustrated cookbooks that capture the flavours making them unique.

Ed & Nikki Broughton - Bonnie Brae

Bonnie Brae make all sorts of films for all sorts of people, though mainly in the arts. We livestream events multi camera, and we also project manage an increasingly diverse and interesting range of creative endeavours.

Stu Lindsay - Pulse North

Pulse North is a small – but dedicated – Print and Digital Design business run by Stuart Lindsay. As a specialist in both WordPress website development and Graphic Design, Pulse North has a consistent track record for delivering attractive, contemporary and client-manageable sites for a range of diverse individuals, organisations and companies.

Karen Slupinski - Commsbank

From strategic communications planning, to marketing collateral and targeted PR ­ CommsBank provides the flexibility of an in-house communications department, without the staff overhead. We are the doers, not just the advisors, becoming part of your team to fulfil the role of Communications Manager.

Tom deMajo is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer focussing on the interactive arts and sound. Primarily a sound designer and composer, Work includes UI, UXD, games design, music composition/production, sound design and audio/visual branding. Toms work has been installed at galleries, included in games and featured at festivals.

Russell Pepper

Russell is a PhD candidate at the University of Strathclyde, working in renewable energy systems research. He has a particular interest in off-grid small-scale systems in rural areas of developing countries, and how the consideration of the wider impacts – environmental, social, economic – of such systems can be used to improve design and benefit communities.

These are former Fleet residents who have gone off in various directions into the wild but still wanted to remain part of the community via an annual subscription.

Grant Richmond - Terminal Pixel

Grant is a roaming freelance web developer specialising in fun and bespoke projects. Occasionally he can be found making other dumb stuff.

Stuart Cockburn - I Love Grids

Based in Edinburgh, I work as a freelance graphic designer through my business, I Love Grids. The projects I work on typically involve designing and artworking printed and digital documents including books, brochures and reports. Among my clients are Acting Now, Avery & Co, CABI, Creative Dundee, Dundee Contemporary Arts, Joan Clevillé Dance, Kitchen Press, Oxford Policy Management and Oxford University Press.
